The book has now been released on Amazon on 3 December, and the launch event is taking place on 4 December 2025.
Why is now the time?
- There’s never been a better, or more urgent, time for women to lead boldly in business in Australia.
- The pandemic disrupted how we work, proving flexibility is possible and showing us what work life balance can look like. The rise of social platforms, including LinkedIn, gave women more visibility and voice. Generational shifts are challenging outdated models of leadership and success.
- But even with the gains, gender equity in leadership remains fragile. Progress has not been linear, and in some industries, it has stalled altogether.
- Women now hold 54.4% of Australian Government board positions, up from 39.1% in 2015. In the private sector, women’s representation on boards has increased from 23.7% in 2013–14 to 32% in 2023–24. Between 1991 and 2022, female small business ownership grew by 77.4%, compared to 43.2% for men. The truth is: we’re not just changing the game. We’re redesigning the playing field.
- The next decade belongs to those who are ready to lead differently, with clarity, courage, and a strategy that’s built for real life.
